About Me

My name is Katerine Giannikos. I'm a Professional Photographer/ Videographer from South Africa now based in Boise, Idaho.

Before moving to Boise, I lived in New York City for a couple of years. Coming from nothing and being thrown into the Big City lifestyle was scary and it really taught me a lot about the type of person I am and what I am capable of if I set my mind to it.

I have always had a passion for photography and videography so when I saved up enough money, I bought my first APS-C Camera. I became obsessed with capturing everything and learning more about photography.

From there I upgraded my gear, learned more about the video world and decided to venture into the drone world which blew my mind.  Seeing the world from above creates a new perspective of life which led me to getting my FAA Drone Certification. This allows me to follow my dream and get paid to do it.

In all of this I came across Timelapse and Hyperlapse Photography which is basically capturing a number of photos and putting it together in a video sequence to show the passing of time, whether that is watching a sunset or traffic moving in the city.

Photography & Videography is a skill I continue to learn and grow from and is something I want to utilize my skills to help businesses optimize their social media and website platforms to help grow an organic following.
